    • I’m trying to download an application which is compatible with Google Chrome, IE etc.
No luck so far. Mac is a law unto itself.

  1. What Rafa has achieved already in the face of so many setbacks far exceeds anything anyone (including himself) could have expected when he lifted his first RG trophy. My great hope is that he will have won 10 RG titles before he finally calls it a day.

    • ^^Are you sure you haven’t stolen my soul, ed251137?!! I too am hoping, hoping Rafa gets 10RGs before he hangs up his racquet. 10 just has a nice ring to it.

I am also coming round to accepting that Rafa’s RG run cannot and will not continue forever. I am glad everyone and his unlce is picking Djokovic to win this year, this means I can watch Rafa’s progress with more “colm’, knowing the other guy is expected to win anyway! I am keeping my most special bottle of wine in reserve though………….just in case Rafa defies the odds as is his wont!!!

Vamos Rafa! Show them who is the King of Clay!!!!

      • Nothing less than a bottle of champers for me – as long as it’s not Moet: I won’t touch the stuff at any price 😉

      • Aw c’mon ed251137, have a heart. There’s a Twinses college fund to grow you know!! I’m sure the Federers would value your contribution!

    • ^^Well spotted @augusta08! I knew there was a reason I was a fan…………

    • ^^it’s 4 actually @Sanju for Rafa but makes no difference. Rafa is the under-dog, good for Rafa I think, no pressure.

      Vamos!!

      • Exactly.. Nole was overwhelming fav at AO too..we all know how that panned out 🙂

Celebrated ones like Cahill and Gilbert are picking Novak which is interesting.. The ones picking Rafa are ladies like Evert, Shriver, Mary Joe etc

    • ^^the difference between the two teams ATM is that intangible Rafa always talks about: intensity. Real are working at about 60% and Atletico are at 100%. Real need to lift their tempo or else it’s curtains.

    • @jpacnw,

How are you following this? Is it on cable? I never watch soccer, so for all I know I just might have some sports channels that show it.

      • NNY7: It was on regular broadcast TV in Portland. Didn’t even have to have cable. Our local Fox channel carried it, KPTV. (Portland’s a pretty big soccer town for a USA city, so I’m not surprised that a local affiliate would carry it).

    • ^^hehehe! To be honest I had no “skin” in this game. My team is ManU. But I Real to win for Rafa. Now he starts RG happy. Hope this makes him play loose.

      Vamos Rafa!
