Nick Kyrgios lost to Kei Nishikori in the semifinals of the Mutua Madrid Open on Friday afternoon, but not before coming up with the shot of the tournament. Serving at 5-6, 30-0 in the opening set, Kyrgios produced a between-the-legs lob winner.
The 21-year-old Australian eventually took the set in a thrilling tiebreaker, but Nishikori recovered to prevail 6-7(6), 7-6(1), 6-3.
Tough one today, but definitely memorable. đźŚhttps://t.co/fcczYK7tnG https://t.co/Vzirj3Uimw

great match–especially the first 2 sets
Beautiful match! Nick is such a potential, he is future of tennis for sure! And the lob winner was truly awesome!
Btw, Nick lost in the quarterfinal not semis (although I would have loved him reaching the semi final 🙂 )
