^^Because when it’s a GS trophy on the line, especially if it’s your FIRST GS final, and it becomes abundantly clear you have a chance of winning after it dawns on you that the opponent you expected to run over you is hobbled by injury, you go crazy, all bets are off, at that moment you have no friends. Rafa, ever much the voice of reason when some of us his fans hyper-ventilate over every loss. It is inevitable that, as time goes by, Rafa will start losing more than he wins. That is life, that is normal.
I, for one, will try to savour the victories which come Rafa’s way and remember that losses are part of a tennis player’s life.
