  1. I never noticed it until I saw these pictures. But then, I rarely am focused on anything about Fed! 🙂

  3. Wimbledon 2015: How Roger Federer inspires global devotion

“Whether it is the ‘RF’ monograms splattered on caps and shirts or the red-and-white-clad mobs of fanatics, Roger Federer’s support is different.
He is a bigger draw at the turnstiles, he attracts more sponsors, he sells more clothes, he is the world’s favourite tennis player – certainly now, quite possibly ever.

Outside of the United Kingdom (Murray), Spain (Nadal) and Serbia (Djokovic), it is difficult to find a country where he is not the most popular tennis player.

Federer is sponsored by blue-chip companies like Rolex, Nike, Credit Suisse and Moet & Chandon.”

    • This is called, having a good taste. Pretty awesome also, to see Hugh Grant, Bradley Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch and Kate Winslet go all out in their support of Roger during the finals. It’s all about knowing a good thing when you see it.

      • Apparently Sherlock was able to deduce a good thing.

One of the first people to shake Djokovic’s hand when the Serbian went backstage with his trophy was Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who had watched the final from the Royal Box.

        Hilarious!

  4. @ritb aka @Mary, it is a sad day for me.

I just discovered that RuansFedererBlog.com is no more.

Ruan has now come out as a Nole fan and is no longer a Fedfan.

Has that ever happened before? A Fedfan becoming a Nole fan?

His site has been renamed UltimateTennisBlog.com.

    The end of an era.
