I think I’ll take Anderson over Youhzny, and Dolgo over Mahout!
Rafa’s first opponent is his fellow countryman Marcel Granollers, who defeated Dmitry Tursunov 6-4, 6-4.
Tsonga being punished by Nishikori. He doesn’t look in good shape.
Whoa! Herbert holding his own against Novak. 4/3 in the 1st. Novak seems to be perspiring a lot, despite there not being many rallies. He also looked a bit winded at one point. I wonder if he’s got a bug of some sort.
He looks like Junior from Breaking Bad.
Herbert and Goffin could be BFFs.
Nole is playing half speed.

Well, Novak pulls it off, but he’s going to have to play better than he did tonight if he expects to win the tournament. Herbert has a great serve and Novak was having quite a bit a trouble getting a read on it in the 1st set.
Sheesh, “quite a bit of”…not “a”…..I must be tired.
Jpacnw,
That was exactly what I was thinking as I watched the match. Djoker did seem to having a tough time reading this kid’s serve. I also think he has an unusual service motion. When he starts to serve, he kind of holds the racket for a few more seconds before starting the service motion. I thought it was kind of unusual.
This kid seemed to play without a lot of nerves. He managed to get the crowd going at times. I did not think Djoker looked very good. He will definitely have to play better if he wants to win.
was a lot closer than if he’d played Paire, that’s for sure.
