  1. Krajicek had two sets and a break but got broken back. Little hiccup but still great to see him playing well. Obviously this is good draw but he has taken advantage very impressively so far. Also basic is up a set and a break on Haase. And Thiem had the set wrapped up practically against Mayer serving up 6-2 5-4 40-15 and now it’s 5-5 in breaker. Thiem not too happy right now but he just popped an ace for 6-5 so it’s set point.

  2. Wow dr Ivo in big trouble. I actually feel like Haase could come back. He did against Dreddy in round one at USO last year and he could do it again especially being the favorite. Not counting on it but it’s not out of the question in my opinion. As for Ivo a comeback doesn’t seem too likely unless he can start finding inroads on the Delbonis’ serve.

  3. Went away from the tv and Bhambri has evened the match at 4-4. Cheering for Bhambri to hold serve. Would be cool if he beat Berdych.

  4. Chung is playing very well…he got unlucky to lose serve …and now he BREAKS BACK! He has built his own brick wall against to stand up against Novak’s concrete wall. However, this is so much on novak’s racket and the only way chun can steal a set here is for novak to miss some key shots…

  5. One of the commies said that he saw Rafa practice earlier today …according to him, right from the start, rafa was crushing the ball and hitting very flat with his forehand! A lot of them were hitting the net or going long early on but rafa kept hitting it harder and harder! Go rafa, that’s the way to go. I hope he gets some decent wins so that he is able to implement on the match court what he is practicing.

  6. I caught up on the scores on ESPN2. It looks like I may be right about Simon winning in four sets. He’s a game away. Dolgo is having a battle.

I kept checking ESPN2 earlier, but all I saw were women’s matches with players I didn’t know.

They said that Fed will be on at 3:00 am eastern time. I will be fast asleep by then!

I hope that Rafa’s practices translate to his matches. So many times we hear about how well his practices have gone and then it doesn’t happen in the actual matches.

I hope that Rafa comes out hitting flatter in this tournament.

  7. ALLEZ Noah!! Paire played like trash but still a huge win. Also Jasika got the win. And the Maestro cruised though from the looks of it basilashvili was kinda lost out there today. Also glad to see P2H get the win. Like seeing serve and volleyers advance in general so that’s good. I like P2H and his game but I’ll probably be rooting for the American Rubin in that matchup. P2H has good shot but after a win over Paire Rubin will be brimming with confidence and could ride a wave to the third round.
