  1. Verdasco finally showing signs of more consistency. After an up and down match he eventually ousted Nieminen.

    Young Popsi didnt fare so well against Haase 🙁
    I really like his attitude though. However he is showing signs of fatigue after his rollercoaster of a season and faded after levelling the 2nd set in the tie-breaker.

  2. Unless a player is fighting to reach London, there is a limit to how much energy the higher ranked players are prepared to expend at this point in the season. This is no bad thing IMO – it gives the lower ranks the chance to gain valuable points not to mention much needed dosh.

  3. Erneststs wins! One nutcase beats another.

    In the 2nd set, Ernie hit an underhand serve and won the point to hold at love vs Janowicz.

    Looked like they were wearing identical kits.
