Who will win Olympic gold?

      • It caught me by surprise (no excuse) but got my picks in last minute.com .

And I wonder about Alcaraz. So much tennis played, even he cant keep winning like this?

Its going to be hot, so fast and bouncy conditions

  1. Well I am utterly surprised that Ricky did not pick Djokovic winning the Olympics.
That being said, I believe that Rafa will make the SFs and perfectly balance the H2H with Djokovic along the way – most likely it will be their last dance together as active players.
Fucsovics comes straight from grass and he’s no spring chicken himself – Nadal should be able to beat him even if he’s far enough for his best.
Since Rafa lost at RG, everything he did was aimed towards reaching top form (or as close as possible) at the Olympics.
It’s quite funny that Ruud, who lost in his first Bastad match, is credited with a bronze medal, while Nadal, who played the final there, is supposed to lose in the first round.

  2. I missed the Rafa Carlos doubles match! Have to watch on BBC iplayer. Has there ever been a country fielding a comparable combination? All time great plus future all time great!? Amazingly charismatic combination.
    Go Rafa and Carlos!!

  3. Hi Amy, hi everyone, hope your all keeping well, anyway I saw Rafa and Carlos, it was very enjoyable match, loved the atmosphere, Xisca and Rafas little guy so cute seeing the fist pumps, hope they can carry it forward, Carlos does seem more confident than Rafa to be honest, I’m not expecting much from him in singles, Rafa I mean, Carlos could be good for a gold, this Rafa I don’t think this Rafa could beat Novak if he they get that far, the Rafa of old yes, but he’s missing easy shots now, that he used to make with his eyes closed, however I’d be happy to be proved wrong, no pressure anymore been there done that 😊

    • Hi Alison!Am so bummed I missed the match. Photos are adorable. Such a handsome and charismatic combination. But their names don’t work together…

      • PS think Rafa should just play doubles. His body is way too compromised to play singles and doubles. Should concentrate on getting a medal with Carlitos.
Obviously I agree he has nothing to prove…But his body will break down if he tries to play both singles and doubles..
