The stage is set for the 2024 Nitto ATP Finals in Turin after the draw ceremony was conducted on Thursday afternoon.
With Alexander Zverev winning the Paris Masters and passing Carlos Alcaraz for the No. 2 ranking, there was a chance that Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner could be in the same group at the year-end championship. However, that did not turn out to be the case; Alcaraz landed with Zverev.
Here are the round-robin groups:
Ilie Nastase Group
Jannik Sinner
Daniil Medvedev
Taylor Fritz
Alex de Minaur
John Newcombe Group
Alexander Zverev
Carlos Alcaraz
Casper Ruud
Andrey Rublev
Opening round-robin matches will see the No. 1 seed face the No. 4 seed in each group, with the middle seeds also going head-to-head. That means Sinner will kick off his campaign against De Minaur, a showdown that is set for Sunday night. Other matchups on the first two days of the tournament are Medvedev vs. Fritz (the opening match on Sunday afternoon), Zverev vs. Rublev, and Alcaraz vs. Ruud.
The eight-day event begins on Sunday, November 10 and concludes with the singles and doubles finals on Sunday, November 17.
