luckystar commented on the post, Nadal returns in style at Madrid Masters with win over Kecmanovic 2 years, 6 months ago
I watched the whole of Rafa’s match. Rafa was playing well, in fact I was quite surprised that he was hitting and moving so well after such a long break.
Kecmanovic was hitting with pace and I knew he would be […]

luckystar commented on the post, Nadal good to go for Madrid as French Open preparation begins 2 years, 6 months ago
Good to hear that he will be back at Madrid as I expected. I think if he’s fit and healthy, he should be fine playing on clay and I feel he will have good results. Vamos Rafa!

luckystar commented on the post, Barcelona SF previews and predictions: Schwartzman vs. Carreno Busta, Alcaraz vs. de Minaur 2 years, 6 months ago
This Alcaraz kid just simply doesn’t give up. His opponents would find it hard to keep up with him over three sets hence they would be beaten by him.
De Minaur had himself to blame for not getting it done in […]

luckystar commented on the post, Belgrade final preview and prediction: Djokovic vs. Rublev 2 years, 6 months ago
Djoko to win in three sets as usual in this tournament. He can simply grind his way to a win even when he’s not playing well. His opponents just couldn’t sustain playing at a high level throughout the match to beat him.

luckystar commented on the post, Barcelona R3 previews and predictions: Tsitsipas vs. Dimitrov, Auger-Aliassime vs. Tiafoe 2 years, 6 months ago
It’s not easy to win titles in back to back weeks, Rafa is really special, when he could do that at MC/Barcelona for consecutive five years from 2005-2009, and then 2011-2012, 2016-2018!
It looks likely that […]

Congrats to Alcaraz for the win and into the top ten comes Monday.
Too bad for Tsitsipas, no Rafa here but there’s Alcaraz so Tsitsipas is not winning the Barcelona title.

luckystar commented on the post, Barcelona R3 previews and predictions: Tsitsipas vs. Dimitrov, Auger-Aliassime vs. Tiafoe 2 years, 6 months ago
Bad behaviour from Tsitsipas! Why couldn’t he just concentrate on the match instead of arguing with the Umpire and getting very negative? It’s not helping him at all! He’s going to lose this match, after fighting […]

Tsitsipas wins the second set! Finally there’s still some hope; and if he loses, at least it won’t be going down meekly.

luckystar commented on the post, Barcelona R3 previews and predictions: Tsitsipas vs. Dimitrov, Auger-Aliassime vs. Tiafoe 2 years, 6 months ago
Tsitsipas is getting a beating from the young Alcaraz right now! Why is Tsitsipas standing way behind the baseline? He’s no Rafa, he couldn’t move as quick as Rafa on clay, so Alcaraz keeps hitting drop sho […]

luckystar commented on the post, Zverev, Tsitsipas survive on wild day in Monte-Carlo 2 years, 6 months ago
I’d watched the Zverev match but was too tired and had fallen asleep during the Tsitsipas match. I have to watch the replay later on to see the ‘thriller’!
All four matches went the distance; watched the f […]

luckystar commented on the post, Alcaraz follows Djokovic out of Monte-Carlo with loss to Korda 2 years, 6 months ago
Too many break of serves, but it’s quite an exciting match with both players not giving up on points.
I’m surprised how good Korda can be on clay, he has an all round game, can rush to the net or stay at the […]

luckystar commented on the post, Miami final preview and prediction: Alcaraz vs. Ruud 2 years, 7 months ago
The kid is full of confidence, but at least he doesn’t want to say that he’ll win RG this year, probably out of respect for Rafa!
He may be thinking of winning at USO, as Wimbledon which is grass surface may […]

luckystar commented on the post, Miami final preview and prediction: Alcaraz vs. Ruud 2 years, 7 months ago
Yes NNY, Meddy is not going away; he’ll be back during the US summer which is the best part of the year for him, and then followed by European Indoor HC, another of his favourite.
He has won Canada, Cincy, U […]

luckystar commented on the post, Miami final preview and prediction: Alcaraz vs. Ruud 2 years, 7 months ago
New Fed is Tsitsipas (and also Shapo. Imo Shapo plays more like Fed, except that he goes for broke too often and too much); new Djoko is Meddy! So far new Djoko is the best as he has already won a slam! […]

luckystar commented on the post, Miami final preview and prediction: Alcaraz vs. Ruud 2 years, 7 months ago
Come on Monalisa, this kid is not unbeatable, and he’s not a world beater, at least not yet. Haven’t you seen him almost got beaten by Kecmanovic? And Kecmanovic is no Rafa or Djoko!
Yes, he had beaten thr […]

luckystar commented on the post, Miami final preview and prediction: Alcaraz vs. Ruud 2 years, 7 months ago
Yeah, you’re right NNY.
Alcaraz may be the next big thing but he’s not yet a world beater. Many people tend to compare him to young Rafa because they’re teenagers when they started to win big titles and also […]

luckystar commented on the post, Miami final preview and prediction: Alcaraz vs. Ruud 2 years, 7 months ago
No, Mona, Rafa is much better on clay than on the HCs, and Rafa had already beaten the red hot Alcaraz on the HC at IW, when Rafa himself was having some physical problems.
Alcaraz is not yet a world beater, […]

luckystar commented on the post, Miami final preview and prediction: Alcaraz vs. Ruud 2 years, 7 months ago
By the look of it, Alcaraz may be the real deal. Juan Carlos was so happy watching Alcaraz won his first Masters!
One commentator said that Alcaraz’s game style is a combination of the big three, and I somehow […]

luckystar commented on the post, Miami final preview and prediction: Alcaraz vs. Ruud 2 years, 7 months ago
Ha ha Happy, I agree. We need to be more positive when it comes to our Rafa, especially when he is playing so well lately. It’s not like Alcaraz is unbeatable, when Rafa despite feeling pain in his chest, still […]
