Damn, Kohls saving break points like it’s going out of style in the 2nd set! Saved 3 to hold in his first two service games in second set.

It looks like Kohls defended his 2nd serve really well in that first set. He only made 55% of his first serves, but he won 71% of his second serve points. And Fed only had one break point, but couldn’t convert it. […]

Holy crapoli! Federer BARELY squeaked through that first tie-break!! I didn’t watch it, but I just happened to check the score and it was 8-8 in the tie break. Fed took it 10-8, but now I really wanna know if […]

Kevin commented on the post, Rotterdam R1 preview and prediction: Federer vs. Bemelmans 6 years, 9 months ago
BestPlayer- are you being sarcastic? If a weak era has already started, how would removing 1 of the only 2 current dominant players from the tour make it any less weak?? Right now we at least have 2 guys fighting […]

Kevin commented on the post, Federer to open against Bemelmans in impressive Rotterdam draw 6 years, 9 months ago
I wouldn’t say Fed is a lock for the title… There are multiple players in the draw who have beaten him before, and we can’t forget what happened last year to Fed in his first tournament back after AO. If he’s in […]

Oh boy. I typed that long comment before I saw that Stan lost in straight sets to a qualifier in Sofia… Now that lingering doubt that I spoke of for Fed to make the semis has decreased a bit. However, there is […]

Stupid autocorrect again! I don’t know of a top tennis player by the name of “Gordon”… Apparently my phone doesn’t recognize the name GOFFIN. 😛

Fed obviously has to be favored to make the semis and regain #1, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up faultering as well. Remember what happened last year in his first tournament back after his epic […]

The only reason I CAN’T say that I wouldn’t be surprised if Federer is YE #1 is because last season, after he won Wimbledon, I said I WOULD be surprised if Fed didn’t end the year as #1, just because he had won 2 […]

Forget about playing a clay court event- he needs to win one other major this season to realistically have a shot at ending #1. Playing a clay event won’t mean anything if he can’t at least win Wimbledon, and […]

Are you saying that getting to #1 and ending a season at #1 are not that different?

Kevin commented on the post, Federer takes wild card into Rotterdam, eyes No. 1 ranking 6 years, 9 months ago
That would indeed be crazy impressive, and would further cement his status as the undisputed, as you like to put it, “Longevity GOAT”. On the flip side, it would extremely concerning for the younger generations […]

Because Davis Cup has become a joke over the last decade or so. Nobody truly cares anymore. Also, I’m from the United States, where I am pretty sure only 1 in 10,000 people has even HEARD of the Davis Cup haha.

Whoops! I made a big typo, Lucky! I meant to ask why you think Rafa has NOT played as consistently aggressive on the other surfaces! Wow, that one typo completely ruins the whole post haha. Please disregard it!

Lucky, I agree with you about Rafa’s aggressiveness at RG2017- personally, I actually think that may have been the most truly aggressive I’ve seen him play, on any surface! It looked to me like he was stepping […]

I feel bad for Novak to some extent. I can’t imagine how frustrating and scary it must be knowing that the injury you have just may not be able to ever fully heal as long as you continue to put full match strain […]

I’ve literally never heard anyone use those words before, and if anyone does, they aren’t worth giving any attention to…. But then again, you think anyone who doesn’t hate Roger Federer automatically hates […]

Yeah, it’s bad. Hopefully they will use all the problems they had with the heat to set a better policy for next year. The problem is that there is nothing they can do to make it more playable for the outer courts. […]
