Get in the game with the Tiger Mobiles Tennis Challenge

Various websites have offered prediction contests for the four tennis Grand Slams and occasionally some of the Masters 1000 events. But even those are single-tournament competitions, no part of a season-long game that would pique the interest of fans from start to finish throughout 2015. Quite simply, there had previously been no well-maintained tennis prediction game anywhere on the internet.

Enter the Tiger Mobiles Tennis Challenge.

Starting at this year’s Australian Open, TigerMobiles.com launched an online, tennis-based prediction game for all four Grand Slams and the nine Masters 1000s.

How does it work? Well, the rules should not be difficult for any tennis aficionado to understand. When the draw for each one of the aforementioned 13 tournaments is made, it will be published on the Tiger Mobiles Tennis Challenge website. Players can then participate in the challenge by filling out their entire brackets, selecting winners for each match and advancing them through the event until they eventually pick a champion. Points are awarded in increasing increments for each correct prediction and the winner is whichever player has accumulated the most points after the final round.

Contestants can change their selections at any point between the time the draw is posted and the scheduled start of the tournament’s first main-draw match. In case of a tie, contestants must predict the total number of games in the final match for a potential tiebreaking scenario.

And while the game is fun, it isn’t just for fun. The winner of each tournament walks away with a brand new iPhone 6 16gb smartphone. Runner-ups in the second, third, fourth, and fifth spots win a t-shirt of their choice from Color13.com. An end-of-season champion is also crowd. The Tennis Challenge keeps a running score across all four Grand Slams and all nine Masters 1000 events, and the contestant with the most points after November’s Paris Masters is the winner. He or she will be rewarded with an 11-inch MacBook Air Notebook 256GB, a one-year subscription to TennisTV for 2016, and five t-shirts of his or her choice from Color13.com.

While Tennis Challenge participants compete against everybody who gets in the game, you can also go head-to-head with your friends by creating or joining private mini-leagues.

Best of all, the Tiger Mobiles Tennis Challenge is free to play. So it is a win-win situation for everyone!

Only the Australian Open has been completed, so 12 men’s tournaments remain on the Tennis Challenge schedule in 2013. In other words, even if you missed the Aussie there is still plenty of time to make up points—especially with women’s events soon to be added. But don’t wait, because both the Indian Wells Masters and the Miami Masters take place this month!
