Flashback Friday: this happened in the first-ever Dimitrov vs. Sock match

Grigor Dimitrov and Jack Sock will go head-to-head in the World Tour Finals semis on Saturday night. Sock is 3-1 lifetime after winning their most competitive encounter 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(7) earlier this season in Indian Wells, where the American saved four match points.

But the most memorable Dimitrov-Sock moment came in their first meeting, which took place three years ago on the indoor hard courts of Stockholm. En route to a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 victory, the Bulgarian delivered perhaps the most shocking stretch of back-to-back points in recent tennis history.

Will something similar transpire on Saturday? With these two showmen on the court, it isn’t out of the question.
