The 2017 Wimbledon draw ceremony was held on Friday in London, and Roger Federer was done no favors as he returns to Grand Slam action after skipping the French Open. Federer finds himself in a quarter of the bracket with Milos Raonic, Alexander Zverev, Mischa Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov, and John Isner. The 35-year-old Swiss will kick off his campaign against Alexandr Dolgopolov and could meet Novak Djokovic in the semifinals.
Despite being less than 100 percent last summer, Federer advanced to the semis by storming back from two sets down to beat Marin Cilic in the quarters. Raonic then ended his run in another five-setter.
Djokovic is on a collision course for the third round with familiar foe Juan Martin Del Potro. Already this season they have twice faced each other earlier than either one would have hoped, with the second-ranked Serb getting the best of Del Potro in both Acapuclo (second round) and Indian Wells (third round). The bottom section of this Wimbledon draw also features Dominic Thiem, Queen’s Club champion Feliciano Lopez, and Frenchmen Gael Monfils and Richard Gasquet.
Up top, Andy Murray is a question mark heading into another bid for a third title at the All-England Club. The world No. 1 showed signs of emerging from an early-season slump by reaching the last four at Roland Garros, but he lost right away at Queen’s Club and is now dealing with a hip issue. Wawrinka, who beat Murray on the red clay of Paris before succumbing to Rafael Nadal in the final, is in Murray’s quarter at Wimbledon.
The top half of the bracket also includes Nadal, a two-time Wimbledon champion (2008, 2010). On each of those two occasions, the Spaniard preceded his grass-court success by winning the French Open. Since finishing runner-up to Djokovic in 2011, however, Nadal is a mere 5-4 on the slick stuff in London with no trips past the fourth round.
Nadal, who awaits John Millman in round one, could run into his first significant test in the form a fourth-round showdown against one of two grass-court forces–and recent ‘s-Hertogenbosch finalists–in Ivo Karlovic and Gilles Muller.

Fed got a great draw against all those bums. The only two peole he will have problem with might be Alexander Zverev and djoker. Raonic is a washed up bum already.
I see Rafa winning Wimbledon with Federer losing before semis, Murray losing to Rafa in the semis and Djokovic making it to the final

Murray will lose to Rafa by being absent – he will be lucky if he wins his first match – in practice he’s leaning over the net like an elderly gentleman who’s bravely got out of his wheelchair. Makes more sense for him to withdraw before Monday.
Agree with Sam on Fed’s draw – his only problem is Nole and only if he is back to the level he was a year ago.
R. Nadal is a good player and he has improved his game a lot, kudos to him.
Honestly he hasn’t just been good on clay this year but on hard courts as well, he went far in many hard court tournaments but winning wimbledon or reaching the semi-final would be hard and i don’t see that happening.
Obviously he(rafa) could prove me wrong but i don’t think he would, he might not even reach the quarter’s.
The say you don’t value what you have until you lose it.
I can’t believe am saying this but i miss my HAWKTARD, we have a painful, loving, difficult and beautiful relationship.
Please does anyone know why he is not here? He(HAWKTARD) Breathes and eats here(tenngrand).
Come out, come out wherever you are, this wimbledon for goodness sake, what are you doing?
