Its really weird to think that if Murray wins on sunday then he will head to Roland Garros with a shot at the career slam which even Djokovic hasn’t done. I think Murray will win on Sunday but he will never win Roland Garros or any clay court title to be honest.
Also, completely random and pointless stat, both players have lost 75 games in getting to the finals.
Rooting for Murray so that both Murray and djokovic chase the career slam together .
Go Murray go
Hope the Djoko of semis turns up but fat chance it will happen
Djokovic is likely to improve on his last match but I hope that Murray can bring this trophy home! GO ANDY!!
he has a decent chance, for sure!
In the match up between these two, at least prior to 2014, each player got pulled down to the level of the player who was playing the worse of the two. I remember a Miami final between them which was a duel of who made less UFE’s than the other. Unlike Rafa Nole or Rafa Murray where both players are forced to raise their levels.
Hence even if Djoko is cold out of the blocks, I dont think Murray can run away with it. On the other hand, if Murray is not careful, he may get smoked like he was in the French open semi by Rafa. Murray had looked impressive till he got to the semis
