The first two rounds of the FIFA World Cup knockout stage are in the books and the quarterfinals are here. Following the tournament’s first off day on Wednesday, action resumed with France’s 2-0 victory over Morocco on Thursday (I cashed Under 2.5 goals with that result) and Spain’s 2-1 defeat of Belgium on Friday (I cashed Spain 3-Way ML). Now it’s time for England and Norway to take center stage in Miami on Saturday.
Let’s dive into my best bet for the World Cup quarterfinal between England vs. Norway.

England vs. Norway prediction: Both Teams to Score (-150)
Both England and Norway have been offensive juggernauts throughout the 2026 World Cup.
England has scored at least two goals in four of its five caps so far in this tournament, including four at Croatia’s expense in the group stage and three against Mexico in the round of 16. Ghana managed to keep England out of the net on June 23, but don’t forget that the Three Lions generated two big chances, controlled 79 percent of the possession, and finished with 1.36 expected goals. Led by Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham, the English side is stacked with offensive weaponry. Kane (six) and Bellingham (four) have combined for 10 goals in the World Cup. Both Bukayo Saka (three) and Anthony Gordon (two) have dished out multiple assists.
Norway’s lineup is obviously headlined by one man: Erling Haaland. The Man City star has found the back of the net seven times in just four matches during this World Cup (he did not play against France after the Vikings had already qualified out of their group). Haaland has scored multiple goals three times, including against Brazil in the round of 16.
Defense has not been a strong suit for either squad. England conceded two goals against both Croatia and Mexico. Norway has given up at least one in all five of its matches, including a pair to Senegal and four against France.
