Before the tournament started Al picked Saba against Pegula with Saba to win and Gauff against Swiatek with Gauff to win. So he got 3 out of the 4.

Isn’t it typical. You have home two players in each of the semis. The men’s are on the same side, ensuring there will be one home finalist (but only one). The women’s are on opposite sides so there could be 0, 1 or 2 home finalists. And you get: 0 😵‍💫
