Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will square off in the Six Kings Slam final on Sunday evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It begins a busy closing stretch of the 2025 season for Sinner, who also has the ATP 500 in Vienna, the Paris Masters, and the Nitto ATP Finals on his schedule. It remains to be seen if he will compete for Italy in the Davis Cup Finals, as well.
The world No. 2 has been putting an emphasis on improving his serve during the stretch run of the year. It certainly worked well in the Six Kings Slam semifinals against Novak Djokovic, whom Sinner defeated 6-4, 6-2 on Thursday. The 24-year-old dropped a total of just eight points in nine service games.
“Yes, I do feel that way,” Sinner said when asked if it was one of the best serving performances. “I wish it would be every, every time like this, but no we try to work on things (and) we try to get better as a player. You have days where certain or particular things work very well, so obviously today the serve worked really, really well. We worked a lot in the past month; we’re serving hours and hours. If this is the result, I’m very happy.”
Next week’s Erste Bank Open in Vienna boasts an entry list that also includes Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, and Alexander Bublik.
