Casper Ruud is looking to get his 2023 campaign on track and Botic Van de Zandschulp stands in the Norwegian’s way of week two at the Miami Open.

Although Ruud has been struggling, a 6-2, 6-3 rout of Ilya Ivashka in his opening match on Friday was very encouraging. It should also be noted, of course, that the world No. 4 made it to the Miami final last spring before falling to Carlos Alcaraz. Meanwhile, Van de Zandschulp dealt with an ankle injury in Indian Wells and is coming off a three-set battle with Alexei Popyrin.

Despite Ruud’s recent woes, he is the more reliable of the two players and should advance at a tournament he really likes without too much trouble.

Pick: Ruud in 2
