Sunday Night Football in Week 3 of the NFL season features the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos at Empower Field in Denver. Both teams have realistic Super Bowl aspirations, but — barring a tie — one will already have two losses in this young season by the end of Sunday. As such, the stakes are high.

Let’s dive into my Rams vs. Broncos predictions.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Denver Broncos odds

Money line: Rams -130 / Broncos +110
Spread: Rams -2.5 (-105) / Broncos +2.5 (-115)
Total: Over 44.5 (-105) / Under 44.5 (-115)

Los Angeles Rams vs. Denver Broncos best bet #1: Under 44.5 (-115)

Each of the L.A.’s first two outings resulted in only 34 points (a 27-7 loss to San Francisco and a 28-6 victory over the Giants). The Rams’ offense was productive in Week 2, but the Broncos’ defense presents a much more difficult test. The G-Men do not have a shutdown cornerback, so wide receiver Davante Adams was able to go crazy with WR1 Puka Nacua (hip) sidelined. Denver certainly has an elite CB in Pat Surtain II, who can put the clamps down on Adams with Nacua doubtful for Sunday. In 2025, the Broncos’ defense ranked No. 2 overall (yards per game), No. 3 in scoring, No. 1 in sacks, No. 2 in yards per pass attempt allowed, and No. 2 against the run. Against Jacksonville in Week 2, Denver gave up only 13 points, 268 total yards, and 4.9 yards per play.

Los Angeles defensive end Myles Garrett (knee) is out, but DT Aaron Donald is back after skipping the season opener in Australia. With Donald once again roaming the interior of the line, the Rams’ defense completely dominated the Giants. Sure, New York’s offense is nothing special — and was handicapped after Jaxson Dart exited on the first drive. But it’s not like the Broncos’ offense is anything special. Count on defenses ruling the day in this one.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Denver Broncos best player prop bet: Kyren Williams Over 51.5 rushing yards (-115)

Early returns this season suggest that the way to finding some success against the Broncos’ defense is keeping the ball on the ground. Denver is No. 8 league wide against the pass and No. 29 against the run. Head coach Sean Payton’s defense is giving up 157.5 rushing yards per game on 5.1 yards per attempt. With Nacua not expected to play and tight end Colby Parkinson (knee) questionable, the Rams have all the more reason to feature the running game on Sunday night.

Although Williams splits carries with Blake Corum, there should be more than enough opportunities to go around for both RBs. Williams bounced back from a slow season opener with 85 rushing yards on 12 carries in Week 2 against the Giants. The former Notre Dame standout has surpassed this 51.5 quota in a whopping 34 of his last 38 games.
