Week 4 in the 2026 NFL season continues on Sunday afternoon with an absolutely huge showdown in the AFC West between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders. Both teams are undefeated at 3-0, as Kansas City is in resurgent form and Las Vegas is the surprise of the league through three weeks.

Let’s dive into my Chiefs vs. Raiders predictions.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders odds

Money line: Chiefs -218 / Raiders +180
Spread: Chiefs -4.5 (-110) / Raiders +4.5 (-110)
Total: Over 47.5 (-115) / Under 47.5 (-115)

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders best bet #1: Chiefs -4.5 (-110)

Despite their perfect record, I’m not quite ready to push my chips into the center of the table with the Raiders. Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins is playing solid football, but this is a tough matchup for the 38-year-old. The Chiefs rank No. 6 in the NFL against the pass, third in yards per pass attempt allowed, and second in QB rating allowed. Las Vegas’ running game with Ashton Jeanty has not really gotten on track, so it could be a rough day at the office offensively for the home side.

Kansas City is looking like a well-oiled machine on both sides of the ball through three games. Head coach Andy Reid’s offense could be better than ever now that it features a star running back, reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III. His presence takes a lot of pressure off QB Patrick Mahomes. KW3 has rushed for 360 yards and has scored four total touchdowns already in 2026. Offensive tackle Josh Simmons (back) is still out, but backup Kahlil Benson has played well in Simmons’ absence. With Mahomes, Walker, and a seemingly revitalized Travis Kelce, the Chiefs probably have too much firepower for an opponent that is improving but may not be quite as good as its 3-0 record indicates.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders best bet #2: Under 47.5 (-105)

There is no denying that the Raiders’ offense has been impressive, but the competition level has been unspectacular so far. That changes this week with the Chiefs coming to town, as they will almost certainly apply a good amount of pressure on Cousins. The Michigan State product is relatively immobile at this point in his career, so K.C. defensive tackle Chris Jones and defensive end George Karlaftis will be licking their chops.

On the other side of the ball, Las Vegas ranks No. 5 league wide with 10 sacks — 2.5 by Malcolm Koonce and 1.5 courtesy of Maxx Crosby. That is good news in advance of a matchup with Mahomes, because defenses are dead if they give the former Texas Tech star time to just sit in the pocket and cook. Don’t be surprised if the visitors score a fair amount of points this weekend, but it will likely be with sustained drives anchored by Walker and the running game. At least that will keep the clock moving.

The under is 3-0 in the last three head-to-head between these two teams. The scores in 2025 were 31-0 in favor of the Chiefs and 14-12 in favor of the Raiders. Their second encounter during the 2024 campaign resulted in a 19-17 Kansas City victory.
