Richard Gasquet saved a match point with a backhand winner that not only went off the net cord but also clipped both the baseline and the sideline during Thursday’s third-round match against Bernard Tomic at the Shanghai Rolex Masters.
But Gasquet could not save a second, as he ultimately lost a thriller 6-3, 6-7(1), 6-4.
