Festivities at the 2025 BNP Paribas Open got underway in earnest with the annual Eisenhower Cup on Tuesday night.
Court 2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden saw eight mixed doubles teams duke it out in a Tiebreak Tens format. Taylor Fritz and Elena Rybakina emerged victorious, beating the all-American duo of Tommy Paul and Madison Keys in the final.
It is Fritz’s second triumph in the Eisenhower Cup, having previously won with Aryna Sabalenka. Rybakina was making her event debut. Both are former singles champions in Indian Wells, with Fritz lifting the trophy in 2022 before Ryabkina prevailed in 2023.
