As usual, the BNP Paribas Open doubles field is loaded.
This tournament is simply the worldwide leader in doubles. In addition to the Eisenhower Cup mixed doubles exhibition that precedes main-draw action, the doubles fields on both the men’s and women’s sides are always stacked. If players lose early in singles, a little two-on-two tennis can give them a reason to stick around longer in Tennis Paradise.
The 2026 installment of the men’s doubles event is no exception. Among the entrants are Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Ben Shelton, Alexander Bublik, Daniil Medvedev, and Frances Tiafoe.
Djokovic is teaming up with Stefanos Tsitsipas, and they will face the formidable pairing of Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic in round one. Sinner and Reilly Opelka, who won the Atlanta title together in 2021, drew the top-seeded pairing of Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos. Medvedev and Learner Tien also make up one of the marquee duos. They are squaring off against cousins Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot. Another match to watch is Auger-Aliassime and Sebastian Korda vs. Zverev and Marcelo Melo.
