One of the biggest games in Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season pits the Denver Broncos against the Philadelphia Eagles. Denver comes in with a 2-2 record, while Philadelphia’s Super Bowl title defense is off to a 4-0 start.
Let’s dive into my Broncos vs. Eagles predictions.
Denver Broncos vs. Philadelphia Eagles odds
Money line: Broncos +180 / Eagles -215
Spread: Broncos +4.5 (-118) / Eagles -4.5 (-102)
Total: Over 43.5 (-115) / Under 43.5 (-105)
Denver Broncos vs. Philadelphia Eagles best bet #1: Eagles -4.5 (-105)
Denver’s two victories so far in 2025 have come against two bad opponents in Cincinnati and Tennessee. It’s uncertain just how good this team is, but what is pretty much guaranteed is that quarterback Bo Nix must play better if a second straight playoff berth is in store. Nix has already thrown four interceptions this season.
Philadelphia has not yet been held under the 20-point mark and it has scored more than 30 points in each of the past two contests. Although the Broncos boast a usually stout defense, there is no reason to think that even they can stop the tush push. Even if cornerback Pat Surtain II manages to contain either DeVonta Smith or a disgruntled A.J. Brown, the other one will likely be in line for a big day. Moreover, Saquon Barkley has 307 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns through four games.
The Eagles have won 10 games in a row dating back to last season and and they are 16-1 in their last 17. Head coach Nick Sirianni’s squad is also 5-1 against the spread in its last six and both 2-0 SU and ATS in its last two head-to-head matchups with Denver.
Denver Broncos vs. Philadelphia Eagles best player prop bet: J.K. Dobbins Over 51.5 rushing yards (-111)
Dobbins has been a pleasant surprise so far this season with 57 carries for 323 yards and three touchdowns. He failed to score for the first time in 2025 on Monday night against the Bengals, but it was still a productive performance with 16 attempts for 101 yards.
Facing Philly is actually a decent spot for Dobbins. The Eagles are giving up 126.0 rushing yards per game on 4.8 yards per attempt. As an underdog team facing an elite offense, the Broncos’ best defense could be simply to keep the ball on the ground offensively and move the clock, keeping Barkley and Jalen Hurts off the field as long as possible. Dobbins should get plenty of volume in this one.
