Delray Beach boasts the strongest field in recent memory, and with it, a great first two days of play.
The first-round bye is usually the enemy of a compelling opening lineup — which isn’t to say that there are never any good first-round matches, just that they are often not the sort that draws a crowd. This year, Delray’s field depth is such that the likes of Sebastian Korda, Marin Cilic, Frances Tiafoe and Brandon Nakashima have all been in action already.
The rest of the tournament is shaping up to be a treat, as well. The Grandstand is on site to get you the inside scoop, player interviews and a first-hand look at the action in the Florida sun. The rest of the week features top seed Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud, Learner Tien, and Alex Michelsen in a field that would even make for a respectable 500-level event.
