The Grandstand is on location at the Dallas Open at a swanky new venue, where the tournament has been upgraded to 500 points and comes with a little Dallas Cowboys flair.
The Dallas Open has taken over the Dallas Cowboys world headquarters for the week. The venue is aptly named “The Star,” and it is also the home of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, who will be providing the pre-evening session entertainment on Tuesday night. The field is packed with a talented crop of Americans led by Taylor Fritz and defending champion Tommy Paul.
The plumped-up field and location have already brought the stars out. Last night, Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas came out to cheer on her friend, Frances Tiafoe.
Long-time Cowboys owner and president Jerry Jones also made an appearance on Monday to congratulate defending champion Tommy Paul and pose for a few photo opportunities.

Fans are in for an entertaining week at the only indoor ATP tournament in the United States. American men’s tennis is once again a force, as the top four U.S. players (Fritz, Paul, Tiafoe, and Ben Shelton) are in the top 20 and all of them are in action in Dallas.

good field
Nice venue….but impossible to cheer for the Cowboys!!!!
