The draw for the final ATP tournament of the regular season, leading up to the World Tour Finals, was revealed on Friday. Almost all hands are on deck for the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris, where every one of the top 18 players in the world other than Andy Murray is in the field.
Nadal is back as the No. 1 seed at an event and his draw rewarded him as such. The Spaniard’s fellow seeds in the first quarter of the bracket are Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Richard Gasquet, and Jerzy Janowicz. None of those three appears to be 100 percent at the moment.
Potential semifinal opponents for Nadal include Tomas Berdych, Milos Raonic, and defending champion David Ferrer. Juan Martin Del Potro, a major threat especially based on his current form, is on the other side of the draw.
Before a possible semifinal showdown against either Del Potro or Roger Federer, No. 2 seed Novak Djokovic could face familiar foe Stanislas Wawrinka in the quarterfinals. Wawrinka, though, may be slowing down at the end of a stellar season during which he lost five-set thrillers to the Serb at both the Australian and U.S. Opens. Djokovic could first get a rematch of a surprising Cincinnati quarterfinal (which he lost in three sets) against John Isner in the third round.
The draw, posted on the tournament’s Twitter feed.

I love Rafa’s draw. Bring it on.
I voted for the best one.
I think Rafa has a good draw. He avoided Delpo. I also like Fed being in Djoker’s half of the draw.
I can’t wait to see Rafa playing again!
Somebody in Paris has a sense of humour. Assuming Cilic can get past a qualifier in 1R he then gets Delpo in 2R.
