Hi Roger! Happy New Year to you too! π
I really don’t like the tournaments before the Grand Slams…I don’t bet on these but hipotetically…
So in Sidney…this is a tough line. Really good players who all need to improve their confidence. All of them can win this…really. But I would prefer Kerber or Radwanska. Aga is getting better and better and Angie seems like getting back to her level when she won Grand Slams. The question is can she win on that really hard draw. If she can then she is going to be one of the favourites in Melbourne. So in Sidney it’s Angie or Aga for me but really anybody can win that.
In Hobart I think Mertens, Sabalenka and Buzarnescu can be the winner. I don’t know why but my favourite is Mertens about these. Actually if there will be a quite OK odds then I will bet on Mertens against Niculescu for sure. But it’s hard to tell. If she plays good and go long she always has a chance to win the trophy.
Now I am getting into the qualies. There are several good oddses there. π
A little quiet here before the AO I see :)) Predicting WTA is ultra tough right now but i’ll try to do some reasoning while entering picks into my bracket
Halep over Pliskova
This AO will be hella interesting I think. In the third round we should get blockbuster clashes between Halep and Kvitova, Safarova and Pliskova. And this quarter also has Strycova, Konta, Ash Barty. What a quarter that is! Halep will have tough encounters with Kvitova and maybe Barty, Pliskova should be tested against Safarova, but I assume they can both advance to the quarters. Who wins?
Basing on the first two weeks I’d say Halep.
Kerber over Garcia
This one is amazing too lol, only one of Kerber, Muguruza, Radwanska and Sharapova will go into the quarters, the question is Muguruza’s fitness and how much does Kerber have left in the tank. I’m gonna go a little crazy here and say RadwaΕska pulls off an upset against Mugu and then go on to lose the winner of Kerber/Sharapova. This one is pretty much 50/50 to me, Kerber didn’t lose a single match in 2018, counting Hopman Cup it’s a friggin’ 9-0. So maybe I’ll pick Sharapova just for fun? No, let’s stick with Kerber. The other half of the quarter is not that interesting, comes down to Garcia/Keys possibly.
Venus over Svitolina
Now to the worse half. It’s not that bad though, second round between Mertens and Gavrilova should be extremely good and Venus Bencic is like FTW this should be a quarterfinal, Belinda was so good at Hopman’s, she’s back in form, Vee played just one match but after Singapore last year I said she was on her way to win the AO and I’m gonna stick with that. Second half the quarter is not that interesting, there’s Svitolina and two chinese girls who can possibly upset her, talking about Zhang and Peng ofc, Stephens is useless right now. It’s pretty crazy to pick Venus to the semifinals when you think her first match is like 55/45 in favour of her but let’s go
Wozniacki over Vandeweghe
It’s such a shame Serena’s not playing, imagine if she was in that quarter for example, it would be so interesting but right now it’s not. Don’t see Ostapenko getting far, the quarter is pretty much Wozniacki and the others, she has a very interesting first rounder against Buzarnescu but that’s pretty much it, other than that the biggest threats are Pavs and Vandeweghe lol
Kerber over Halep
She just won Sydney, has to be tired but I don’t know it just feels bad to have Halep in an AO final for me, she was not that good down under in the past
Wozniacki over Venus
I really want Venus to win it but I don’t think she can, she has a way tougher draw than Woz
and then Wozniacki over Kerber?
And she gets no.1 back too
0.1 percent chances of that bracket happening lol
It was a thriller. I was just so upset…because I haven’t seen Wozniacki played that badly more than a year. It was a really bad match for her. Usually she hit as many unforced error as now on 2-3 matches. And Fett played really well. She turned Caro’s weapon against her…she just gave everything back and she won the points that usually Wozniacki wins.
But after sweetie was 2 match points down and 1-5…she was just amazing. She found her game in the last minute…I think she only hit about 2 unforced errors from 1-5 to 7-5. I was so happy!! π
And you know what?! That match can make her the champion here. It was tough…she played badly most of the match but she could make an unbelievable comeback. That will really help her mentally and I don’t think she will have such a bad match again until the end of the AO! π Or maybe I just hope so. π
Caro for the win!
Before your ass becomes sore quickly apply some lotion/cream! Wearing thick pads for your soft ass will also help!ha,ha,ha…
SOLUTION = Just more in-depth analysis and discussion between the 100’s of WTA experts here is needed to pick the correct winners. Unfortunately NO ONE discusses any matches here in depth! With so many matches being held everyday a TEAM WORK approach (…with selfless bettors interest in mind and not that of the bookies needed) to analysis is needed!
Kanepi was a miss…other too was good. π
Tonight great matches. I think Kerber can beat Sharapova.
And of course Aga and Halep for the win! π
Barty can be good for betting. And I think Sasnovich will make an upset here.
This is a really nice top4 in the girls draw. 2 of them waiting for a GS win for so long…and 1 fought back herself to the top after a miserable year. And Mertens is a great talent. But I hope that one of the other 3 will win this trophy. π She will have time to take this later. π
This is getting interesting. π Come on Caro!!!
in the same Rolex Cellini Replica style as the team replica watches. I find the engraving far more satisfying, but would have liked to see a bit more depth to it. There is a little more branding on the PRC200. Firstly, Burberry handbags the 6 o‘―clock sub-dial sports a basketball image in grey. Additionally, the pushers are edged with red (top) and blue (bottom), Breitling Replica Watches UK which is, to me, the coolest thing.
