  1. Wow, I got Seppi in the quarterfinals, but both of you have him losing to Matosevic. Is there something you know that I don’t. Also, that’s gutsy picking Tomic and Janowicz to both lose in the second round Ricky.

You guys need to change your Auckland picks. Monfils dropped out, siting fatigue. A qualifier is taking his place.

  2. GGL is out y’all! and Ricky’s is back to ABR (Anyone But Rafa), good, Rafa will bite the trophy and do a samba jig to boot……

    • @ritb,

I didn’t know GGL is out! Wow! You now sound more optimistic about Rafa’s chances. You said previously that you didn’t have a lot of expectations because of Rafa returning from the back injury. But it sure sounds like you are feeling very good about his chances now!

The only way that Rafa doesn’t get to the final with this draw if is his back isn’t 100% and acts up. I also don’t see him losing to Ferrer.

I can’t wait to see Rafa in action again! 🙂

      • @nny, Rafa looks happy in Rio and if he is doing double duty in training it means he wants to do well. Like you, I think the only thing that could stop him is his back. It really would be nice if the winner of the inaugural Rio tournament is………Rafa!

Yeah, I’m feeling good about his chances. Hopefully Ferru will be tired from his previous exploits and won’t trouble Rafa much should they meet in the final as expected.

  3. @ritb,

I can’t think of a nicer way for Rafa to get back in action than with a win in Rio! I am just so happy that I will get to see all his matches!

  4. Sydney:
Del Potro, Istomin, Almagro, Pospisil, Kyrgios, Mayer, Querrey, Groth, Tomic, Klizan, Qualifier, Matosevic

Del Potro, Istomin, Pospisil, Kyrgios, Querrey, Tomic, Klizan, Goffin

Istomin v. Kyrgios, Querrey v. Goffin

    Kyrgios d. Querrey

    Auckland:
Qualifier, Lorenzi, Lu, Mannarino, Qualifier, Giraldo, Johnson, Coric, Thiem, GGL, Young, Qualifier

Robredo, Lu, RBA, Giraldo, Johnson, Anderson, Young, Gulbis

Robredo v. RBA, Johnson v. Gulbis

    RBA d. Johnson

    • I’ll think about doing this draw stuff. With school and tennis I dunno but I know it would be fun. Still predicting match by match on here and discussing is good as well so yeah I may or may not do that but yeah that’s a good site.
