Zverev triumphs in Washington, Querrey and Kohlschreiber also win titles

Alexander Zverev won his fourth ATP title of the season when he beat Kevin Anderson 6-4, 6-4 in the final of the Citi Open on Sunday afternoon. Zverev dropped a mere nine points in 10 service games and did not face a single break point while prevailing in one hour and nine minutes.

The 20-year-old German, who won the Rome Masters a few months ago, remains No. 8 in the world and is up to fourth in the race to the World Tour Finals.

“I think I improved a lot in the last few months and in this off-season so I can be able to win these kinds of tournaments,” Zverev explained. “I showed in Rome and I’m showing it here again. I just hope I can continue playing well like this or even make it better in the summer. We’ll see what the next few big tournaments hold for me.”

Sam Querrey is also making an unexpected push for London. With Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka out for the year, Querrey is unofficially No. 9 in the 2017 race following his title in Los Cabos on Saturday. The 6’6” American held off first-time ATP finalist Thanasi Kokkinakis 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 after one hour and 46 minutes. He fired 15 aces and benefited from nine double-faults off the Kokkinakis racket.

“It’s really exciting to win here,” said Querrey, who also lifted a winner’s trophy in Mexico earlier this season when he rolled through an impressive Acapulco field five months ago. “I felt like I played really well. This tournament only keeps getting better, so I’m already excited to come back next year. I think the last couple of months have been the best I’ve played and if I can keep this going the rest of the year, it’ll be my best year on tour yet.”

Querrey-Kokkinakis highlights:

If Mexico feels like home for Querrey, Kitzbuhel is home for Philipp Kohlschreiber. The German makes his residence in Kitzbuhel and he captured his second title there by defeating Joao Sousa 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday afternoon. Kohlschreiber needed one hour and 22 minutes to secure his eighth career ATP title.

“It was an amazing week for me,” the unseeded Kohlschreiber assured. “I never expected to win this title when the tournament started. I really enjoy playing here, it is such a nice event. Everyone is doing a great job and the crowd loves to come here.”

in the same Rolex Cellini Replica style as the team replica watches. I find the engraving far more satisfying, but would have liked to see a bit more depth to it. There is a little more branding on the PRC200. Firstly, Burberry handbags the 6 oclock sub-dial sports a basketball image in grey. Additionally, the pushers are edged with red (top) and blue (bottom), Breitling Replica Watches UK which is, to me, the coolest thing.
